What is MiCBT?
MiCBT (Mindfulness-Integrated Cognitive Behaviour Therapy) is specialised Mindfulness training for Individuals to overcome stress-related conditions. MiCBT is a very effective method of learning and practicing Mindfulness. If you are troubled with stress, anxiety, harmful reactivity, bad habits or you want to beat addiction, phobia or fear, try MiCBT.

You will learn skills to relieve anxiety, pain and other suffering. In fact, this evidence-based practice has been used successfully to treat both serious and non-serious stress conditions. Mindfulness practices show you how to stay in the present moment. Importantly, you learn to accept your experiences without negative or unpleasant reactions. When we expect things to turn out well, and they don’t, we feel sad, disappointed or angry.
On the other hand, if we accept what really happens, rather than what we imagine will happen, we avoid distress and instead, feel calm. MiCBT teaches you how. In fact, it helps you to manage serious conditions like addiction, anxiety, depression, panic, phobias, stress and trauma, as well as ordinary, everyday stress.
MiCBT Sessions
Training consists of 8 sessions (or more for serious conditions) ideally weekly. At each session, we discuss your weekly practice and you learn new skills. There is psycho-education, and activities to carry out between sessions. The skills you learn will give you life-long benefits.
Before you know it, you begin to feel different. In fact, you are calmer, more content and happier. Life changes for the better! See downloadable PDFs: About Mindfulness About Mindfulness Therapy.
Whether you are struggling with stress or want skills to stay healthy and calm, MiCBT will help you. Discuss your concerns with us to see if it is for you. Book your session via the booking image.
