Mindfulness Therapy (MiCBT)  is a Mindfulness for Individuals course to help clients overcome stress-related conditions. MiCBT (Mindfulness-integrated-Cognitive Behaviour Therapy), developed by Dr Bruno Cayoun, is a very effective method of learning and practicing Mindfulness.

If you are troubled with stress, anxiety, harmful reactivity or bad habits or you want to beat an addiction, phobia or fear, try MiCBT.

MiCBT teaches skills to relieve anxiety, pain and other suffering. MiCBT is evidence-based and has been used successfully to treat both serious and non-serious stress conditions.

Mindfulness is the practice of staying in the present moment and accepting your experiences without negative or unpleasant reactions. We expect things to turn out well, and when they don’t, we feel sad, disappointed or angry.

If we accept what really happens, rather than what we imagine will happen, we avoid distress and instead, feel calm. MiCBT teaches you how.

MiCBT helps serious conditions like addictions, anxiety, depression, panic, phobias, stress and trauma. It also helps you manage everyday average stress. Mindfulness skills benefit everyone. Just commit to attending the sessions and doing the daily practices. The more you learn and practice, the more you will improve.

The course consists of 8 sessions or more, depending on the severity of the client’s condition. Sessions are held weekly. At each session you learn new skills. You have assessments and activities. Your commitment is to attend all sessions and practice Mindfulness meditation twice daily for 30-minutes. This will ensure that you ingrain your skills deeply for life-long benefits. You receive comprehensive notes and 2 CDs or access to on-line recordings to aid your progress.

We discuss your problems with you and how you have managed your weekly practice. You begin to feel different. You are calmer, more content and happier. Life changes for the better!
